Description

The Tokai Metal Driver TMD-2 is a distortion pedal with a two-band EQ section. Its Drive control sets the amount of gain, ranging from a mild overdrive to a saturated distortion. The Level control adjusts the overall output volume, allowing the pedal to boost or cut the signal relative to the bypassed level. The pedal's tone-shaping controls alter the frequency response, with the Bass and Treble knobs independently boosting or cutting low and high frequencies to shape the distortion character. The pedal operates with a standard 9V DC power supply and features a true bypass switching system that preserves the dry signal when the effect is disengaged.
