Description
The Ross Phase Distortion combines a phaser and a distortion circuit in a single pedal, allowing the two effects to be used together or independently. Its phaser section sweeps a notch filter across the frequency spectrum, with a rate control determining the speed of the sweep. The distortion section adds harmonic saturation and sustain, with a drive control adjusting the amount of gain and clipping. A blend or mix control, if present, would balance the dry signal with the effected signal, but the exact control layout is not specified. The pedal is designed for electric guitar and operates on standard 9V power, with input and output jacks for mono connection.
