Ross Compressor

Description

The Ross Compressor is a compressor pedal designed for electric guitar. It features a single control knob that adjusts the amount of compression applied to the signal. As the knob is turned up, the pedal reduces the dynamic range by attenuating louder peaks and boosting quieter passages, resulting in a more consistent output level. The pedal also has an internal gain makeup stage that compensates for the volume loss caused by compression, ensuring the overall output remains strong. It operates with a standard 9-volt DC power supply and includes a bypass switch to engage or disengage the effect without altering the dry signal path.
