Description

The Roland Phase Five AP-5 is a phaser pedal designed for electric guitar. It offers five phaser modes, selectable via a rotary knob, which vary the number of stages in the phase-shifting circuit, altering the character and complexity of the sweeping filter effect. The pedal includes controls for Rate, which adjusts the speed of the modulation, and Depth, which sets the intensity of the phase sweep. A Resonance control emphasizes the frequency peaks of the effect, producing a more pronounced and vocal-like tone. The AP-5 features a bypass switch for true bypass operation, ensuring the guitar's dry signal remains uncolored when the effect is off. It operates on a standard 9V DC power supply, with an input and output jack for mono connection.
