Description

The PSK WP-101 Wah is a pedal effect that shapes the guitar signal with a band-pass filter whose center frequency is swept by rocking the treadle. Pressing the pedal forward raises the filter's resonant peak, producing the characteristic "wah" vowel-like sweep, while pulling it back lowers the peak for a darker, muted tone. The treadle's position directly controls the filter sweep, and the effect is typically engaged or bypassed by a foot switch on the pedal's base. The unit is powered by a standard 9-volt battery or an external DC adapter, with input and output jacks for mono connection in a signal chain.
