Pearl Phaser PH-44

Description

The Pearl PH-44 Phaser is a compact analog phaser pedal that generates its sweeping filter effect through a series of phase-shift stages. Its Rate control determines the speed of the sweeping modulation, while Depth adjusts the intensity of the effect, from a subtle movement to a pronounced, wobbly sweep. A Feedback control (often labeled Regeneration) sends a portion of the output back into the circuit, increasing the resonance and creating a more pronounced, vocal-like character. The pedal features a straightforward on/off footswitch for bypass, and operates on a standard 9V DC power supply. Its all-analog signal path preserves the dry guitar tone while the effect blends in the modulated signal, producing the classic, liquid phasing sound associated with vintage phasers.
