Description

The Mu-Tron Micro V is an envelope-controlled filter pedal that responds to picking dynamics. Its core control is a sensitivity knob that sets how strongly the filter sweeps in reaction to input level; playing harder opens the filter, while softer playing lets it close. A mode switch selects between up and down filter sweeps, determining whether the wah-like effect moves from low to high frequencies or the reverse. The filter's center frequency is adjustable, letting you place the sweep's starting point across the spectrum, and a resonance control emphasizes the filter's peak, adding a pronounced, vocal-like character to the sweep. The pedal's envelope follower tracks the attack and decay of your playing, so the filter's movement is tied directly to how you articulate notes rather than to a fixed LFO rate. It operates on standard 9-volt power and includes a bypass switch to engage or remove the effect from the signal path.
