Description

The Maxon PT-01 Phaser is a compact pedal that generates its sweeping filter effect through a series of phase-shift stages. Its Rate control determines the speed of the modulation, cycling the phaser's characteristic notched sweep from slow to fast. The Depth control adjusts the intensity of the effect, varying how pronounced the sweeping peaks and troughs are in the frequency response. A Feedback control, when increased, emphasizes the resonant peaks, adding a more pronounced and vocal-like character to the sweep. The pedal features a true bypass switching system, ensuring that when disengaged, the guitar's signal passes through unaffected without coloring the tone. It operates on a standard 9V DC power supply, with a red LED indicator showing when the effect is active.
