Description

The Line 6 DM4 Distortion Modeler recreates a range of classic distortion, overdrive, and fuzz pedal sounds through digital modeling. Its Drive control adjusts the amount of gain, shaping the intensity from mild breakup to heavy saturation, while the Tone control alters the high-frequency content, making the sound brighter or darker. The Level control sets the output volume, allowing the pedal to boost or cut the signal relative to the bypassed level. A model selector knob chooses among the various emulated pedal types, each with its own character and response. The pedal includes a bypass switch that routes the signal directly to the output when engaged, preserving the original tone when the effect is off. It operates with a standard 9V DC power supply and features both input and output jacks for mono connection in a pedalboard setup.
