Description

The Glisterin's distortion character is shaped by a three-band active EQ, allowing the bass, mid, and treble frequencies to be boosted or cut independently before the gain stage. A drive control sets the amount of clipping, ranging from a mild breakup to a heavily saturated tone, while a level knob adjusts the output volume to match or push the amplifier. The pedal's internal circuitry uses a blend of silicon and LED clipping diodes, which produces a symmetrical compression when pushed hard, giving the distortion a tight and focused attack. A true bypass footswitch removes the effect from the signal path entirely when disengaged, preserving the guitar's uncolored tone. The enclosure is a compact, die-cast metal housing with top-mounted input and output jacks, making it pedalboard-friendly for tight spacing. Power is supplied via a standard 9V DC adapter with center-negative polarity, and no battery compartment is included, so external power is required for operation.
