Description

The Ibanez Tube Screamer TS-808 is an overdrive pedal whose distinctive mid-boosted character comes from its analog circuitry. Its Drive control sets the amount of gain, ranging from a subtle warm breakup to a more saturated distortion, while Tone adjusts the high-frequency response, allowing the user to brighten or darken the output. Level controls the overall output volume, which can be set higher than the input to push an amplifier into further overdrive. The pedal features a true bypass footswitch that completely removes the effect from the signal path when disengaged, preserving the guitar's direct tone.
