Description

The Ibanez Auto Filter AFL is an envelope-controlled filter pedal. Its response is triggered by picking dynamics: a harder attack sweeps the filter more dramatically, while softer playing produces a subtler effect. The pedal includes controls for adjusting the filter's sensitivity to input level and for shaping the sweep's character, allowing the user to dial in everything from subtle wah-like movement to pronounced, synth-style filter sweeps. It operates as a mono effect, processing the guitar signal through a band-pass or low-pass filter whose cutoff frequency is modulated by the envelope follower.
