Description

The Electro Harmonix Volume Pedal uses a rocker-style treadle to control the output level of an instrument signal passing through it. As the treadle is rocked forward, the volume increases toward unity gain, while rocking it back reduces the signal down to silence. This passive design requires no power supply, and the pedal's internal potentiometer provides a smooth taper for gradual volume swells or fade-outs. The pedal includes input and output jacks for insertion into an effects chain, allowing the player to adjust overall loudness without altering the tone of the dry signal.
