Description

The Little Big Muff compresses the guitar signal into a thick, sustained fuzz with a pronounced midrange push that helps it cut through a mix. Its three controls—Volume, Tone, and Sustain—shape the sound in distinct ways: Volume sets the overall output level, Tone sweeps the treble response from dark and muffled to bright and biting, and Sustain increases both the amount of fuzz gain and the length of the note decay, allowing chords to ring out with a violin-like sustain. The pedal is housed in a compact die-cast enclosure, smaller than the classic Big Muff, but retains the same circuitry topology. It operates on a standard 9V battery or an optional DC power supply, with a true bypass footswitch that keeps the dry signal uncolored when the effect is disengaged.
