Description

The DOD FX82 Bass Compressor is a compact pedal designed specifically for bass guitar, with a fixed compression circuit that evens out volume peaks and sustains notes. Its primary control is a single Output knob, which adjusts the overall level of the compressed signal to match the bypassed volume or to push the input of an amplifier harder. The compression ratio and threshold are preset internally, so the pedal operates automatically without user-adjustable attack or release settings. An LED indicator shows when the effect is engaged, and the pedal uses a standard 9-volt DC power connection.
