Description

The Colorsound Supa Wah Volume combines a wah and a volume pedal in one enclosure, with the two functions selectable by a switch. In wah mode, the treadle sweeps a filter that emphasizes different frequency bands as it rocks, producing the characteristic vowel-like sweep associated with wah effects. In volume mode, the same treadle acts as an expression-style volume control, adjusting the overall output level from minimum to maximum as it is rocked. The pedal is passive, requiring no power supply, and uses a mechanical potentiometer arrangement to control the signal. Its construction is built for floor use, with the treadle mechanism providing a smooth sweep for both functions.
