Description

The Colorsound Supa Wah Fuzz combines a wah pedal and a fuzz circuit in a single enclosure, with the wah sweep and fuzz gain interacting in the signal path. The rocker pedal controls the wah's band-pass filter, sweeping the resonant peak across the frequency range as it is rocked forward and backward. A separate fuzz control adjusts the amount of distortion, ranging from a mild overdrive to a heavily saturated, sustained fuzz. The fuzz section's output feeds into the wah circuit, so the wah's filter shapes the fuzz's harmonics, producing a vocal-like or quacking effect as the pedal is swept. The unit is powered by a standard 9V battery or an external DC adapter, and it features a true bypass footswitch to engage or disengage the effect.
