Description

The Colorsound Supa Tone Bender is a three-transistor fuzz pedal known for its aggressive, sustaining distortion. Its three controls—Volume, Tone, and Sustain—shape the sound: Volume sets the overall output level, Tone adjusts the high-frequency content from dark to bright, and Sustain controls the amount of fuzz gain and compression, with higher settings producing longer, more saturated sustain. The pedal uses germanium transistors, which contribute to its warm, dynamic response that cleans up when the guitar's volume is reduced. It features a true bypass footswitch for signal integrity when disengaged. Power is supplied via a standard 9V battery or an optional DC adapter, with the battery compartment accessible on the bottom.
