Colorsound Phaze X

Description

The Colorsound Phaze X is a phaser pedal that sweeps a series of phase-shifted filters across the frequency spectrum to create a swirling, jet-like modulation. Its Rate control determines the speed of the sweep, from slow, undulating cycles to fast, vibrato-like textures. Depth adjusts the intensity of the phase shift, controlling how pronounced the sweeping effect is in the overall sound. A Feedback control, when increased, regenerates the shifted signal to produce more resonant, pronounced peaks and troughs, adding a more dramatic and vocal character to the sweep. The pedal mixes the dry and effected signals internally, with the wet signal level determined by the Depth setting. It operates on a standard 9V DC power supply and features a bypass switch to engage or disengage the effect, preserving the unaffected guitar signal when off.
