Description

The Boss DC-3 Digital Space-D is a compact pedal that generates a stereo chorus effect using digital processing. Its central control, Depth, adjusts the intensity of the pitch modulation, while Rate sets the speed at which the chorus sweeps. The E.Level knob blends the amount of effected signal with the dry signal, and the D.Level knob controls the level of the delayed signal, which is a distinct component of this unit's sound. The pedal features a stereo input and output configuration, allowing it to process a mono input into a wide stereo image when two amplifiers are used. A mode switch selects between different chorus algorithms, altering the character of the modulation from subtle to more pronounced. The DC-3 operates on a standard 9-volt power supply and includes a bypass switch that preserves the dry signal when engaged.
