Description

The Boss CE-2B Bass Chorus is a dedicated chorus pedal engineered for bass guitar, with a preamp circuit tailored to preserve low-end clarity. Its Rate control adjusts the speed of the pitch modulation, while Depth sets the intensity of the sweeping pitch shift, creating the characteristic shimmering, detuned effect. The pedal includes a low-cut filter that removes excessive low-frequency buildup from the chorus effect, keeping the bass fundamental tight and defined. An Effect Level knob blends the dry bass signal with the effected signal, allowing subtle thickening or pronounced modulation. The CE-2B operates in mono, with a single input and output, and uses a standard 9V DC power supply or a 9V battery.
