Ampeg Phaser A-4

Description

The Ampeg A-4 Phaser is a compact pedal that sweeps a series of phase-shifted filters across the signal to create a swirling, jet-like modulation. Its Rate control determines the speed of the sweep, from slow, subtle undulations to fast, dramatic whooshing. Depth adjusts the intensity of the phase shift, controlling how pronounced the sweeping effect is. A Resonance or Feedback control, when present, emphasizes the peaks of the phase-shifted frequencies, adding a more metallic or vocal character. The pedal features a true bypass footswitch for clean signal integrity when disengaged, and operates on a standard 9V DC power supply. Its straightforward control layout makes it easy to dial in classic phaser tones for guitar or other instruments.
