Description

The Omnifex 701P Phaser is a pedal effect that modulates the frequency response of the incoming signal by sweeping a series of phase-shifted filters. Its primary control, Rate, determines the speed of the sweeping modulation, creating a cyclical, whooshing effect. Depth adjusts the intensity of the phase shift, controlling how pronounced the sweeping peaks and troughs are in the sound. A Feedback control, when increased, emphasizes the resonant peaks of the phase-shifted frequencies, adding a more pronounced, vocal-like character. The pedal features a standard mono input and output, with a true bypass switch that preserves the dry signal when the effect is disengaged. It operates on a standard 9V DC power supply, ensuring compatibility with common pedalboard power sources.
