Description
The Visual Sound Route 66 American Overdrive combines classic compression and overdrive together in one pedal! The overdrive section is modeled after the sound of the original TS-808 Tubescreamer (using the JRC4558 chip) and the compression channel can be set for fully 'squashed' sound or very subtle compression.

The sound source is looped noise. First, just the compression channel is engaged and the SUSTAIN and TONE knobs are tweaked. Then the overdrive channel is engaged and the TONE knob is tweaked and the BASS BOOST is turned on.. then the compression channel is turned off and just the overdrive channel is heard.
